Ashley Monroe

Ashley Monroe (born in America) is the country music and pop artist. The year 2007 was the time she released two singles and an album entitled Satisfied. After that, she founded a Pistol Annies group with Angaleena Lambert, Miranda Lambert and Angaleena. The group later debuted her second album titled Like a Rose. Ashley Monroe is the Assistant Village Manager of the Village of Riverside Illinois and has over 15 years experience as a public servant, which includes nearly five years as the Deputy City Manager for Iowa City. Her current responsibilities as the Assistant Village Manager includes the management of the Community Development and Building Department in coordinating grant applications and working on special initiatives. Ashley assists in assisting with the village's day-to-day services while working with the local elected officials. Ashley's responsibilities include planning for municipal services, budgeting, management of staff and collective bargaining. Ashley also focuses on the climate issues. Ashley's participation in national organizations, and her involvement with diverse communities and demographics has allowed her to gain insights into the various differences and commonalities between the ways in which various public agencies are run. Ashley's course focuses on leadership, management and public administration from the point of view of a practicing practitioner. As well as providing a context for current and future professionals, Ashley emphasizes the importance of adapting today's strategic and ethical decision-making to meet the challenges ahead and make use of opportunities.
