She was born Christina Haack in Anaheim, California on July 9 1983. After graduating, her first job was with the industry of real estate. She met Tarek El Moussa while working in the industry of real estate. After the 2008 crash of the stock market, numerous real estate investors and those who were homeowners lost their funds. Tarek El Moussa and Christina El Moussa nearly lost everything as a result. Following their move from a home which cost their $6,000 a year to a house that cost $700 and almost losing all their possessions. They gradually rebuilt their business and their economy. HGTV and Rise to Fame In 2011 Tarek asked a friend to assist him in creating an HGTV audition tape that showed him and Christina the process of flipping houses from beginning to end. The tape ended up in the hands of executives of a production firm called Pie Town Productions. They instantly fell in love with Christina and Tarek's story of love. The contract was agreed by the couple and HGTV. In April 2013 "Flip of Flop", a reality show, began its debut. Between 2013 and 2017 the show ran for 92 episodes over seven seasons. Christina and Tarek had to buy houses, usually in Orange County. After spending many weeks making improvements then they'd flip the houses for a profit. Tarek is focused on removal and remodeling and renovations, while Christina focuses more on the layout. Christina also ensures that the project is completed on time.
